Rogue Nation marks the fifth movie in the Mission: Impossible series, with the huge star cast as previous, is doing tremendously well at the box office. The movie already is being described as ‘the best in the series‘ and ‘the best movie in this summer‘ with its amazing script, lethal action scenes and power packed performance by Cruise and crew.
Coming to the cast, Tom Cruise – the ever handsome 53 year old plays the role of Ethan Hunt. Ethan Hunt trying to prove the existence of the Syndicate, an international criminal consortium is on run from the U.S government. With the IMF disbanded, and Ethan out in the cold, the team now faces off against a network of highly skilled special agents, the Syndicate. These highly trained operatives are hellbent on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks.
Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who may or may not be a member of this rogue nation, as the group faces their most impossible mission yet. Rebecca Ferguson not just breathtakingly beautiful but outperformed all the action sequences, which mesmerizes one and all.
For those action movie lovers, this movie has everything beginning to the end. The movie opens with Cruise hanging on to an airplane wing by its side with death-defying arrogance, at an altitude of a few thousand feet. All the action sequences are precisely choreographed to perfection, though there are few which might seem practically impossible but still could be accepted as it is ‘Mission: Impossible’ after all. Few action scenes are really hard to put into words unless and until one visualizes them on big screen, so there are no spilled beans here.
Must to be given credits to the Maestro ‘Christopher McQuarrie’ for this chilling and thrilling story and screenplay. As the movie is out just yesterday, there are no spoiler alerts in this review.
