1.Cherrapunji , Meghalaya : It is a town in the East Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya and has been the wettest place on Earth in the past years. It has breathtaking views with extremely beautiful waterfalls which have a captivating history of their own. You can even spot Bangladesh from the cliffs of Cherrapunji.
THANGKARANG PARK – This beautiful, feast for the eyes place is a home to many rare and endemic orchids and species.
You must have heard of living root bridges but you should definitely visit Cherrapunji to witness lots of them
2.Lavasa city , Maharastra : It is a planned city built near Pune . It has enrapturing scenic beauty and is a delight for nature lovers especially during the monsoon season.
3.Munnar , Kerala : It is a town situated in the Idukki district of Kerala and at the confluence of the Mudhirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers. It is located on the Kannan Devan Hills village in Devikulam taluk and covers an area of nearly 557 square kms .The closest railway stations are at Ernakulam and Aluva(around 140 kilometres by road). The Cochin International Airport is 105 kilometres away and is the closest airport.

4.Tawang , Arunanchal pradesh : It is a culturally rich place with scenic beauty. It has the Tawang Monastery. Bhutan borders Tawang from the west and Tibet is to the north of the district. The district occupies an area of 2,085 square kilometres.
5. Khajjar, Himachal pradesh : Known as the mini Switzerland of India it is a hill station in Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh. It is surrounded by rich dense forests and exhibits a rare combination of three ecosystems: lake, pasture and forest together.

6. Lunglei, Mizoram : It is a town, situated in the south-central part of Mizoram state and has an unmatchable scenic beauty. The weather is wonderful during summers and is a haven for all nature as well as adventure loving people. The city view at night is truly spectacular.
7. Devprayag , Uttarakhand : It is an important place of pilgrimage for Hindus situated in the Tehri Garhwal district and has extremely beautiful surroundings . Also the confluence of the two rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda , which then gives birth to holy river Ganges , takes place in this town and the formation of Ganges can be clearly seen.
8. Jyotirmath , Uttarakhand : It is also known as Joshimath and is a town situated in Chamoli garhwal district. It has extremely beautiful surroundings with pleasant climate. It is the uttarāmnāya matha or northern monastery, one of the four cardinal institutions established by Adi Shankara.
