The kings and queens in Game of Thrones may not have captured the seven kingdoms yet but they sure have captured all our hearts. Currently, Game of Thrones is viewed in 193 countries around the world. With 9.5 rating in imdb, this series has taken the world by storm. Game of thrones, based on the book by George R.R Martin of the same name, has proved itself to be the most successful TV series in the world by now. And the whole crew have worked so hard to accomplish such a status. It is said that one episode is shot in as many as three countries at a time. No wonder the seasons turn out to be so good!
In the first four seasons we have seen many things from our favorite characters( go Tyrion Lannister! ), death of our favorite characters ( Ned Stark, sigh ), Mother of dragons with her dragons, the white walkers, the night watch and many wars. Season four left us at a cliff hanger with Tyrion Lannister escaping King’s Landing as well as Tywin Lannister’s death and from that moment on wards we have held our breaths (well figuratively) for the next season!
Game of Thrones is back with its newest season, season five! And it couldn’t be better. Released April 12, 2015 on wards, the first five episodes have been mind blowing. With the death of Tywin Lannister, the union between Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion Lannister ; the sons of Harpy and The High Sparrow, this season has a lot to offer.
With the brand new episode releasing on May 17 called “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken”, let us all sit down on our couch and see what is next to come in this season.
Will Daenerys capture the seven kingdoms, will we see a union between fire and ice, will we catch any action in the battle with the white walkers? What is next in this season? Watch Game of Thrones season 5 episode 6 on May 17 to find out.
In the meantime, feel free to comment on which team you are, team Tyrion, team Jon Snow, Team Daenerys or maybe team Stargaryen.
