Charge a smartphone in seconds using a Super Capacitor!

Yes, It is possible now you can charge your smart phones in Seconds with the help of a flexible super capacitor and you wouldn’t need to charge it again for over a week. Not only phones it can also be used in applications of consumer electronics.

Basically there are 3 types of capacitors and the basic one is the electrostatic capacitor. This type capacitor have low capacitance and it is mainly used in radio frequencies and filtering.

The second type is the electrolytic capacitor. These capacitors act as a moist separator and used for filtering, buffering and signal coupling.

The third type is the supercapacitor. These capacitors is comparatively better than above two types because of faster response rate. This super capacitors are used for charge storage with frequent fast charge and discharge cycles at high current and in shorter duration.

Super Capacitors:

Super Capacitors:
The super capacitors is the double-layer capacitor differs from a normal capacitor and it has very high capacitance. This capacitor stores energy by static charge as that opposed to an electro chemical reaction. The voltage difference between the positive and the negative plates charges the capacitor. This flexible super capacitors are made by means of carbon nano-materials.

Researchers made this super capacitors with the composition of millions of nanoshell thick wires coated with shells of 2D materials. A highly conductive material facilitates quick electron transfer for fast charging. So they conduct a research based on shell wires with different combinations of substance, but the result came with low success rate and then they go with graphing mixed carbon wires the result gives a shocking experience i.e, This super capacitor that does not degrade even after it has been recharged 30,000 times (20 times better experience than Li-ion and 10 times better than that of Li-polymer batteries). No matter how many times you charging, the power efficiency remain same.

Since super capacitors are fast and flexible, it will make a drastic change in the future.
