“Don’t take rest after your first victory because if you fail in the second, more lips are waiting to say that your first was a luck”
Mr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam the 11th president of our country. In fact the way in which he loved to be known as ‘The man of the youth’ has indeed been an inspiration, a friend and truly a person that we look upto.
“My message, especially to young people is to have courage to think differently, courage to invent, to travel the unexplored path, courage to discover the impossible and to conquer the problems and succeed. These are great qualities that they must work towards. This is my message to the young people.”
We as youth had always believed that in 2020, Mr. Kalam would be present to witness what we had dreamt of. He has been one person who’s presence was not always acknowledged, but had the confidence that he was always there for us.
The news that came in yesterday had broke the hearts of millions. How can a person be so versatile? A President of the world’s largest democracy, Project head of ISRO , an author, a public speaker, a teacher and moreover an outstanding human being.
Mr. Kalam had made the Rashtrapati Bhavan more accessible. Every mail that he received was answered. He was known as the ‘Most accessible President’ and even now that his soul has reached a better place, his ideas, his dreams and his principles will be more accessible than ever.
Kalam sir said ‘ I have a lot of faith in the 54 million youth in our country’. We promise you today that we will strive for all that you wanted and make India a global power by 2020. Thank You for everything sir. There is a greed in us that makes us want you for a longer time. But it will take time for us to digest this fact. Your vision of a developed nation by 2020 is on track.
Rest in Peace Young Sir.
